Senior .NET Programmer Analyst

 

Responsibilities:
Responsible for client/server, web, and database application design and development.
Analyzes the business requirements and technical specifications for solutions.
Utilizing a thorough knowledge of programming and server software operations, develops custom programs in C#, C/C++, ADO.NET using Microsoft SQL Server and ASP.NET.
Creates data-driven, customizable user interfaces.

Designs software around documented design patterns.

Employs configuration management, issue tracking, and unit test tools in normal development cycles.
Writes deployment and testing plans to ensure a successful implementation.
Plan, design, and conduct performance tests and make any corrective actions.
Demonstrates ability to learn new technology.

Must be a Team Player and a self starter.


Duties
• Performs application design and development.
• Interacts with users from initial expression of requirements through final user testing approval.
• Creates applications using various technologies to connect interactive clients with server-side databases and applications.
• Performs testing quality control functions to insure accuracy, reliability and data integrity.
• Troubleshoots and corrects application problems.
• Adheres to standard programming techniques and develops reusable program code
• Documents new applications and modifications of existing programs - both within the software and via users’ guides.
• Follows production turnover processes.
• Provides accurate time estimates relating to project development and assists in preparation of project management/status reporting.

Requirements
Qualifications: Skills
• 3-5 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• 3-5 years experience with Microsoft development (C#, ADO.NET, ASP.NET)
• Experience with XML, C#, C/C++, stored procedures and Oracle or Sybase a plus.

• Experience with Subversion and NUnit.
• RFID experience is a plus.
• Thorough understanding of the project development cycle

 

Education Requirements
