SecurLynx Corporation is the collaborate efforts of former company, Franklin Wireless, and parent company, Intelligentz Corporation and founded as a Radio Frequency Identification solutions provider. The company's primary function is the development of applications and middleware software that integrates Active and Passive RFID tag technologies as well as biometric products into network or solitary solutions. These solutions may be customized for a client depending on specific operational needs. The company is comprised of consultants and developers from the computer, biometric and RFID industries. SecurLynx offers off-the-shelf solutions into the Asset and Personnel Tracking, Warehouse Inventory Management, Financial Institution, Supply Chain, Government and Health Care industries.
LynxTracker is SecurLynx's easy to install, turn-key solution that allows companies to track personnel and assets within diverse environments. The software captures RFID tag information, that is placed on an asset or employee badge, as it moves through a control point. The information is then analyzed by the business rules created by the company. Custodial relationships between personnel and assets are easily assigned with business rules controlling what to do if the asset is being moved or taken by an unauthorized person. A series of reports are also included with the software to allow immediate visibility of the asset and personnel data. The flexibility of the software allows for easy customization of reports for companies with unique needs. This middleware/application software allows a company to keep its investment in RFID and integrate it with newer or functionally different types of devices (i.e., Active and Passive Tag RFID products with biometrics). Being able to integrate and output to multiple database environments is a huge advantage. A company can choose to use Microsoft MSDE, SQL or Access databases. In addition, a company can choose an ODBC Compliant database if they desire. LynxTracker enables your secure access tools to work within your networked environment; be readily available to integrate with other IT applications; allow security personnel to be immediately notified of abnormal movement; and allow authorized access to the transaction history from the corporate network or internet.
